1. why I played this character.
I'm not sure why I picked him up initially. I knew I wanted to get into BW and I just missed the opening by a day or so. I picked the name Ellerby because I liked the sound of it, and everything related to his family rose out of that. All I knew in holding was that I wanted a future soldier Hufflepuff boy. The rest just sprouted out of that.

2. my favourite moment in canon for this character.
For funny, light moments, I'd say the entry when he asked Olive to Hogsmeade was a good one. But honestly, though he was depressing to play there wasn't anything I didn't like about his part in the game, and I don't know if there's anything he'd do differently.

3. my favourite piece of headcanon for this character.
I actually always liked Kenneth's family and their influence on him. I sometimes struggle with NPC characters but somehow the Ellerbys just clicked for me.

4. Something about this character which makes me laugh.
His stubbornness, especially re: Olive and just about anything to do with her. There isn't honestly much that makes me laugh about Kenneth :-/

5. Something about this character which makes me cry.
Let's stick with about the last half of the game? But most specifically, his brother's injuries and how he couldn't deal with them, losing his brother and his mother, losing Agatha, and falling into borderline suicidal depression. So, you know, most things about Kenneth.

6. One of your characters that I think would get along well with them.
Agatha ;) Well, and Olive!

	Kenneth and Olive were really unexpected. I still think often about how things might have evolved differently if like they hadn't broken up after that quidditch match (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	I know we epilogued them differently, but I could see Olive and Kenneth, a few years after Hogwarts, trying a relationship again and maybe with more success. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

1. why I played this character.
I picked up Emily because I had a friend who had told me about the game who was planning to pick up Wayne. I based a lot of Emily off of our discussions; sadly, she couldn't stay with the game and I almost dropped Emily when she left, but something about her made me hold on. I'm so glad I did!

2. my favourite moment in canon for this character.
I kind of love everything about Andrew asking her out and the first couple of weeks of their relationship.

3. my favourite piece of headcanon for this character.
I don't know why, but I like that her birthday is on Christmas.

4. Something about this character which makes me laugh.
Um, lately? Her response to becoming a boy :P I thought she'd freak out more but really, she kind of embraced it? As much as she could, at least.

5. Something about this character which makes me cry.
Well, let's go with her Mum, and then Andrew, for that.

I considered picking up Wayne when she left, because I've played him before and love him. But, even though I loved the idea of Emily as his sister, I couldn't square the Wayne in my head with Emily's family background, or rather, I had a very specific family background for him that wouldn't go away, so I never did. All the same, I'm super glad you didn't drop her because she's awesome.

1. why I played this character.
The game was looking for more I.S. students who enjoyed abusing their privileges, and I'd had a muse for a powerless kid who suddenly gained power and couldn't get enough of it. Two and two together, and Devon.

2. my favourite moment in canon for this character.
I'm not really sure. I love playing him in fights where he (thinks he)'s getting the better of the other person.

3. my favourite piece of headcanon for this character.
His inability to step down and be wrong.

4. Something about this character which makes me laugh.
The fact that he always thinks he's right?

5. Something about this character which makes me cry.
I don't know about cry, but frankly his family situation is pretty crappy.

Romilda, on other days.

1) It amuses me that you and Cat and I say the same thing about Devon, William, and Evan respectively. The game needed them, and so we obliged with three very different but interlinked assholes.

5) It really is. It makes Romilda cry.

6) Ughhhhh them at the moment. Idiots. Romilda has already drafted a "we broke up but I don't want you to kill him" entry in her head. And she is taking it out on anyone who comes near her.

1. why I played this character.
I don't remember what made me pick her up in the first place. I just wanted a strong Gryffindor-type woman who spoke her mind, and she sort of developed from there.

2. my favourite moment in canon for this character.
I liked her friendship with Gawain. And I wish I hadn't gotten so busy and had to write her arrest out sooner than I'd wanted.

3. my favourite piece of headcanon for this character.
I liked everything with her and Dervish and Banges. I don't really know why.

4. Something about this character which makes me laugh.
I'm not sure about laugh-out-loud, but her blood pressure levels every time Filbert Mulciber said something always made me giggle a bit.

5. Something about this character which makes me cry.
I wish I'd gotten to write her out properly. Everything felt rushed for me. So I don't know about cry, but there's that.

1. why I played this character.
I needed someone generally happy to balance bad-news Kenneth and always-pessimistic Trudy. Actually, my initial ideas for him were quite different but he evolved a lot before I apped the final version of him--the one that ended up in game.

2. my favourite moment in canon for this character.
I don't know about moment, but I like that he always tried to ease the tension. He would tell jokes or try to stay optimistic in the face of almost anything.

3. my favourite piece of headcanon for this character.
I actually like that he was kind of ashamed of where he came from. He was really worried about going "back" to being a Muggle and that gave him more weight.

4. Something about this character which makes me laugh.
The fact that magical paintings really freaked him out.

5. Something about this character which makes me cry.
Anytime Sammy was sad it also made me sad, maybe even moreso than Kenneth did.

Who wouldn't get along with Sammy? ;)
