1. What initially prompted me to like the character enough to write about him/her.
2. One of his/her best traits.
3. One of his/her worst traits.
4. How easy/difficult I find it to write the character.
5. The story/thread/chapter/post/paragraph/tag/phrase where I feel that I truly captured the character.
6. My plans for the character in the near future. |

Someone please tell me to finish the redwagon application I've got going instead of coming up with even more character concepts.
And tell me that I shouldn't try more than two characters there until I've got a feel for how much I'll be able to handle, and that I shouldn't get too attached to new ideas if I don't think I'll be able to manage them! |

Thank you everybody for your kind thoughts and hugs. My grandma passed away this evening, which all in all is for the best. I'll probably be extending my hiatus for a while (not that I'm very good at hiatuses anyway.) |

ETA I just want to say that my drama kids are such good kids. One of them could tell I was upset on Thursday and asked what was wrong, so I told her. Last night they all gave me this card they'd signed with condolences. Nobody knows what to say to a teacher who's upset but they're trying anyway and they're so sweet for it. They make the rest of the crap that goes with my job worth it. |
